Oct 31 is Halloween .. Taiwan doesn't have Halloween Party, so this is my first Halloween Party in my life..
Oct 30 my host mother's friend gave us apple candies and spider cakes. I ate a apple candy... It was delicious... 
At that time I saw the news reported about Apple Candies... I thought that is it traditional for makeing apple candies?
I asked my host mother about it  .. She told me that kind of traditional for long time ago... ( Apple candies are delicious)

Oct. 25 was our last class in Oct. and we had a performance in school .
This month our topic is role-play and situation is in the restaurant..
Below pictures were taken when we were performing. 
The scene one is that the children are playing and feel hungry at that time their mother is phoning to restaurant for reservation.

Hahah.. Halloween was passed but the feeling is still around me.. .. 
This is my first time to make pumpkin face ... It is called Jack - o -  lantern... 
This Sunday we did ... Now i want to tell you how to make face ? 
1. At frist you have to use knife making a circle on the top of pumpkin and then pull it out  by spoons and knives ...
( This is very tough because the rinds are thick... )

Haha~ ~ Nowaday I felt the temperature is getting lower...
Sometime I felt uncomfortable because my body doesn't adjust to the temperature of Vernon... 
Recently outside is 4 degree... Oh my goodness It is same as cold current in Taiwan .. 
Top picture was taken near my house. I love automn in Vernon because I have seen many red and yellow leaves dropped on the ground. It is very pretty.

This is the last week in Vernon for Grace 
Grace and I really like Korean food so my classmates decided to cook for her... 
This Monday after school we went to her house for potluck because their neighbors joined us....
In Taiwan I couldn't cook well so until now I'm afraid to cook....
Monday I tried to cook Sweet Corn Soup... (Everyone told me ... It was delicious.....) 
Hyo and Jimmy cooked kimchi rice ... They had a lot of rice left so I cooked fried rice again...
Below dishes were cooked by Fiper ^^ ... These look delicious....hahaha......

They are my host father Brent & host mother Teresa .... 
Oct. 21 is Teresa birthday, Brent held a party on Oct 20 at "Deer Park ". It was a secret. 
Teresa just knew they will have dinner in the Deer Park . 
Around 7 o'clock Brent and Teresa came to the Deer Park... She was surprised because at the time their friends were there already... (That was sencond surprise)
The first surprise was Brent's present that is necklace that made from birth stone of their three children. What a nice husband....
Sunday was Teresa birthday she made a birthday cake for us... It was delicious....
Her name is Ali she is old sister, His name is Jace he is younger brother (middle children).

Food is our presentation topic this month... 
Last Thursday we have 12 groups made different Salads for our dinner...
The are my presentation member...We are from different countries....
From left side is Miki ( Japanese) ' Dong Ha (Korean) ' Meresert (Ethiopian) ' Fiper (Taiwanese)
These pictures were taken when we was cooking salad...( I felt that Korean men can make funny face everytime we took pictures because so far the korean who are my friends always made funny face when we took pictures...)

Castelegar & Trial are Grase's host father and mother 's hometown... 
Oct 12 ~ 14 we went there to join "Baby Shower" and visited their parents and friends...
On the way to Castelegar we went through many small towns.....
We walked around frist small downtown It was very lonely... but people are very kind ... 
One host invited us to take picture with his car ( but car has front only )

She is my niece and her birthday is Oct , 10 ... hahah... 
Now she is 3 years old... my goodness her hair was cut again.. She looks like a boy.. hahah... but she is still cute...

Oct 8 is Thanksgiving Day that like family day and everyone has to stay home for supper... 
Oct 8 we will go to camp(without overnight) with my hostfamily's friends from church so we were ahead Thanksgiving supper on Saturday. 
When I came there first week my host father decided to re-layout our garden because they bought a new hot top.. 
Now winter is coming and weather is getting cold the garden has to be completed asap...
Both pictures are part of our garden but it hasn't finished...
