After corss conutry skiing I told myself I would not do any exercise about snow.. 
One day Young soo told me It was wasting if you came to Canada and you weren't skiing or snowboarding, and I heard many students said how fun snwboarding is so I asked for Mizuto taking me to Sliver Star for snowboarding. 
Last Sunday Mizuto ' Shun ' Eiji and I went to Sliver Star. We changed our snow stuff and then went to a place which people practice skiing and snowboarding before they go to high level mountain .

Last Saturday was my last field trip in Canada  ... It was a busy day for me .. 
In the afternoon I went to Mizutio's house to borrow snowboarding stuff from his host mother and then we went to the bean to cup to meet Lana for chating .. 
Around five o'clcok we went to the restaurant to have dinner ... Seven o'clock we went to Hockey Game. 
That hockey game was very exciting because they are famous team in Canada... 
I'm a fan of the Viper team on that day Viper was winner ... yaya... 
That was a good ending for my last field trip in Canada

Last friday was beautiful day. 
After volunteering I wnet home for taking a rest. 
Around 3:30 my host parents asked me : would you like to skate on the lake?
Yes.. of course .. It would be my new experience.....^^ 
That is a beautiful lake which is in front of our college.. 
It taked 10 minutes from my house to there, I was very exiced on the whole way.. ^^

One week ago my host family took me to the sliver start to skate. 
Before I just though I would not join kating just for fun because i've never skated in Taiwan and I was afraid to walk on the ice. 
Brent borrowed a pair of skating shoes for me when we arrived there . Finally I tried it because I though I would try anything I've never tried in my life .. 
Haha this was my skating shoes.. 
I was skating with support tool.. i realized that skating was not difficult but you have to fall down many times to experience and then you can understand how to skate.. haha..but until now i'm still afraid i'm staking without support tool but skating is lots of fun .

Jan. 18th our field trip was Curling..If i didn't come to Canada I think I've never know what Curling is ? 
Before we playing the curling we were taking funny pictues it is our crazy style.

Adult day is a traditional day in Japan... There are some Japanese students in our college for studying English ..
Their age are under 20, and 1/14 was second monday of January. So our ESL statff were very sweet to hold a ceremony for them. 
Monday our classes were finished by 11:00. All of Japanese students were changing into their traditional clothes from 11:00 to 12:00. 
The ceremony started at 12:00. Japanese students wore cute clothes and stood  in front of us .. 
At that time the leader of the ESL staff told us some information about Adultd day..

Haha.. He is Gabi.. I had a lot of pretty pictures that were taken from him.. 
Gabi is my best friend in Canada.. I relly like his personality ... He is very gentle, clever and funny...
Many students like him because his personality , sense of humor, and any actions when he talk with other people..
I know him since July, and after Elyn left Vernon  Gabi and IC were looking after me around at least four months..
Jan. 10th Gabi left Canada. His host family held a party for him. Somestudents and I joined his party ..
We had a delicious supper... 
After dinner Peter(Gabi's host father) , his friend, Shun and Ryuta were played some songs for Gabi.. 
when I heard lyrics which is "We are proud to have you " (maybe i forgot) ... haha.. 
I was really touched.. so suddenly my tears dropped .....

I had a wonderful New Year's Eve....
We had a long holiday during X'mas and New Year. I didn't have any plan because I had a Vancover trip before our vacation....
All of my friends don't have drive's licence except to Gabi and I have to change my airplane ticket before Feb in Kelowna. 
So we decided to rent a car, change my ticket and then cross New year in somewhere...
Dec.31 We rented a car around 12:30... We went to airport to change my ticket..
BTW:
Oh my god... a staff of air canada told me I can bring 2 suitcases each 23 KG...I was wondering about that because when I came here I could brought 2 suitcases each 32 KG. How come they changed the rules and we didn't get any information..Suddenly I have to reduce my suitcase each 10 KG..
After asking the reason is Air Canada's rules have never changed in which two suitcases each 23 KG..BUt when I came here my first airplane compay was Eva airplane from Taiwan to HK and then transfered Air Canada airplane to Vancover..So at that tiime I could carry 32KG for each suitcase.. >< Based on what company you taking first.. I didn't know.. ><

After airport we went to Ochard Park Shopping Mall to meet Charels and Olivia ..
Around six o'clock we arrived Vernon and then we picked up Yumika and Ayumi to Sliver Star ....
Sliver Star is a beautiful place in Vernon.. In summer time you can hike and winter time you can ski and snowboard..
Nearly 7:20 we saw the fire works there and then we drank some beers..
We left there eleven o'clock and then we went to Gabi's hose for countdown..
5.....4......3.....2.....1....Happy New Year... ^^ we took a cup of champagne and then cheers...
Haha.. This was my first New Year abroad...^^ .. I felt the feeling was totally different to Taiwan...
There are beautiful view in daytime and nighttime in Sliver Start..
Below pictures were taken when we were walking to rent car company ....
New Year Eve was sunny day the sky was very clear.

Grace came back to Vernon on Dec.27th so we made a date and had lunch in Downtown..
She was studying ELS class in Vernon from August to October and then transfered to Vancover for studying Business.
She has good relationship with us....So when we knew she would come back to Vernon we were very happy....
Dec.29th all of delicious restaurants were closed... So we went Chinese restaurant for lunch..
Some Japanese and Korean said Chinese restaurant was good  ... 
I''m Taiwanese actually I didn't like it because the taste was totally different from Taiwan..I miss my father's cooking .. 
After lunch we went to the cafe shop and we were talking for a long time ^^....

X'mas eve I went bed 3 o'clock in the morning.. and X'mas my host children woke up around 7 o'clock because they were exciting about X'mas gifts.. haha... 
Everyone got a Stocking which were lots of gifts inside..They said those gifts were from Santa claus
X'mas morning the weather was very good ... I don't know why the sky was purple...

I was very excited about X'mas coming because this was my first time staying abroad during X'mas...
Christmas Eve Gabi's host mother invited me to their house for dinner on that day the weather was pretty good... 
Above picture was taken in Gabi's house and below pictures were taken near my house...
Last Saturday and Sunday were heavy snow.. But Monday was a perfect day because I walked on the snow, the sky with blue, white color and the warm sun
What a lovely feeling..
I walked from my house to bus stop. I took lots of pictures...

Last Thursday was our last class in December so we had a performance in our class...
Our team was creative we decided to mix three stories and put Santa Claus in our role-play....
At first the rabbit was working on the moon, he felt bored because of job ..Suddenly Santa appeared and then took over his job.
After few days Santa felt bored and then he wnet to the earth...
He saw match girl was selling some matches but nobody wanted to help her..
Santa gave her a gife that dreams come ture...
Last story was three pigs...our ending was the wolf died and Santa gave three pigs a lot of gifts..
We took a piece of paper from Santa's red bag and then said " Meryy Christmas" to everyone. Haha..What a wonderful ending ..
